2012.03.26 Monday 　Boticca

先日、イギリスから来客がありました。

イギリスのウェブサイトBoticca ( http://boticca.com )

の代表と作品担当のKiyanとChiaraです.

このサイトに私の作品も載せて頂いていて、

今回はビデオインタビューのためわざわざ大阪のアトリエまで来られました。

緊張の中、作品のコンセプトやイメージなど色々英語でのインタビューでした。

来月あたりにBoticcaの中でそのインタビューが流れるそうです。

今回のBoticcaの特集が日本らしく、Boticcaの表紙に作品を掲載して頂いてます。

これからこのサイトに作品を載せられるジュエリー作家さんの中川雅代さんも

来て頂きました。

There was a visitor from England the other day.

Kiyan and Chiara from Boticca, an online fashion market place

in England. I have my works in the website, and Kiyan and Chiara

came for a video interview to my studio in Osaka.

I had my interview in English about my concept of my works, and

images and etc, which I was very nervous...

The interview will be on the site around next month.

Boticca is now featuring japan, and my piece is on the

front page of the website.

My friend Masayo Nakagawa, a jeweller in Osaka

will have her works in Boticca, too.

2012.03.09 Friday 　Osaka Designers College Graduation Day

大阪デザイナー専門学校の卒業式そしてパーティー。

今年のプロダクト学科はみんな仲が良く、

作る事そしてサプライズが大好きな学生さん達でした。

アクセサリーコース７人の皆とも共に悩み、落ち込み

そして喜んだ２年間でした。

サプライズライブそしてサプライズプレゼントには

私も含め先生方皆感動でした！

アクセサリーの皆からはメッセージDVD！

本当に嬉しいです！

卒業おめでとう！そしてありがとう！

Today was a graduation day of Osaka designers College.

All the students of product design department of this year

were very friendly and loved to create things and liked to

surprise everyone!

I had a very special 2 years and enjoyed with the

seven students from the accessory course.

From all the students from the product design department,

we teachers had a surprise live show and presents!

Many teachers including me were in tears.

From the accessory students, I received a special message DVD!

Congratulations, and thank you to all of them!!

2012.03.03 Saturday 　My work bench

オーダー作品のサンプル制作中。

作業机はごちゃごちゃになるばかり・・・

奇麗に片付けてしまうと制作モチベーションが

下がるのでついこんな状態に、と自分に言い訳してます！

Making some samples for the new order.

My work bench is getting messier and messier...

If I clean my bench too clean, my motivation for

the work gets low, so...

Well, I guess this is just an excuse for me!

今日、大阪デザイナー学院の卒業制作展が無事終了しました。

昨年９月のアドバイス会から審査と皆それぞれ

悩んだり、喜んだりしながら制作してきた作品達。

悩みながらも皆とても頑張っていい物が出来たと思います！

それぞれ展示方法も考えながらの卒展。

プロダクト学科皆さんの力作もすべてお見せ出来ないのが残念です。

皆さん本当にお疲れさまでした！

Today was the last day of the final graduate exhibition of Osaka designer's college.

From the advice meeting and the board review which started from last september,

all the students got worried about their works, and in the other hand enjoyed

making their final works. But I think they did a great job!

Their works and their displays.

It is a pity I can not show all the works of the product design department.

Good job! to all the students!

2012.02.14 Tuesday 　大阪デザイナー専門学校卒業制作展

明日、２月１５日 (水）から大阪デザイナー専門学校の卒業制作展が始まります。

アクセサリーコースのあるプロダクト学科は１９日 (日）までです。

今日搬入も無事終わり良い空間になりました。

The final exhibition of Osaka designer's College will start from February 15th (wed).

The accessory course will be held until the 19th (sun).

Today was the bringing in of the works.

And all the students works and the space looks great.

2012.02.13 Monday 　ATELIER to nani IRO

先日、知り合いの伊藤尚美さんのショップ「ATELIER to nani IRO」の

オープニングパーティーがありました。

靭公園近くにあるレトロなビルに伊藤さんの素敵なデザインの

テキスタイルのお店がオープンしました！

これからワークショップなどもされるそうです。

オープニングパーティーにはNHKの子供番組「ストレッチマン」に出演されてる

ミニマムスと言うバンドの演奏もあり大盛り上がり！

帰りには一人一人にTOバッグとスケッチブック頂きました。

オープンは２月１４日からです。

A friend of mine opened a textile shop [ ATELIER to nani IRO]

and there was an opening party the other day.

The shop is located near Utsubo park in osaka in a very retro building.

There are many nice textiles with beautiful designs from Naomi Ito.

There will be workshops held in the future, too.

In the openings, the band from the NHK kids program was there to performance!

For all the people who came to the openings, there was a lovely gift,

[To] bag and a sketch book!

The grad openings for the shop will be on the 14th of April.
